How to teach your children how hand washing helps prevents the spread of coronavirus

The World Health Organisation has declared coronavirus a Global Health Emergency. We have had many parents ask us how to teach their children about how viruses spread and how to prevent their spread. The most common way a person is infected when not at the epicenter of the outbreak is by touching a surface previously touched by an infected person and then touching their own face, specifically the eyes, nose and mouth. Hand washing is the single most effective way to prevent the spread of viruses including coronavirus and the flu. As viruses are invisible to our naked eye, we show you how to use a bowl of water and some pepper to help explain why soap and water are needed to remove viruses and other germs from your hands to prevent them from spreading.
